Great pool area and comfy room.

We had an awesome group trip! We visited the famous beaches and Balboa Park using our Hop-on, Hop-off Trolley Tour passes. The one-bedroom suite was cozy and had a little kitchen to prepare our meals. The location is perfect—close to everything we needed, and the staff were super helpful throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the parking situation was a bit frustrating. While they improved it, the nightly fee of $40 felt excessive. It would have been nicer if parking was included with the room price.

The hot tub was a great bonus after a day at the beach! The location was unbeatable, just steps from the beach and the historic hotel.

el cordova has a great location and offers local car parking at a reasonable price. our one-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. we loved the rustic charm of the hotel, and it was a nice touch to receive a basket of towels and supplies without asking, really showcasing their attentive service.
